My Philosophy

​There is no wrong way to give birth. Some conceptions of doulas assume that doulas only serve women who would like unmedicated births. Doulas serve all women, for all types of births.

 

I wish to help the first-time Mom, the third-time Mom, the confident Mom, and the anxious Mom to have a positive and empowering birth event. I trust in women’s bodies and abilities to give birth. Doulas help physically and emotionally during pregnancy, labor, and birth, working in tandem with the birthing woman's health care team. 

 

Doulas provide physical comfort measures for unmedicated births and emotional support during a scheduled cesarean section. It is my passion to provide education, support, and care so women can have satisfying and gratifying experiences during labor and birth, whatever type of birth they may have.
